 I love Flowers. Gardening has always been one of the things I like to do. Keeping flowers blooming year around in my house makes me happy. My pressed flower passion started in year 2000, beginning of a new millennium, after reading a book on pressed flowers, I was enchanted. Within six months, I have read books on pressed flowers titles from ten different public libraries in Westchester county, NY. 2001: member of WWPFG 2002: 1st Place award, WWPFG valentine card competition 2003: Entered Philadelphia flower show (PHS) pressed plant material competition 2005: Intensive short course on Oshibana pressed flower art Second place and honorable mention in two categories, WWPFG conference competition 2006: Honorable mention PHS pressed plant material competition Third place WWPFG conference competition 2007: PHS pressed plant material competition first place award
Served as secretary of WWPFG from 2002 to 2005. |
