I was born and raised in Taiwan until I was 10 years old when my family moved t to Singapore.  6 years later we immigrated to Canada where I completed my high school along with my BA degreed in Commerce and Finance from University of Toronto.   I have worked in many areas of accounting and financing: Banking industry, Theater and performing art center and latest international manufactory company.

I like flowers, and enjoy gardening.  During the spring plating about 15 years ago,  I took a break and sat down, then suddenly these question came to mind: “what will be my harvest at the end of season?” “What will be the fruit of my labor?” For these, I started to research on flowers that are easily preserved: drying or pressing. At first I did both dry and pressed but gave up on drying due to the space required for storage.

In the spring of 2006, I searched the internet for pressed flowers, and found WWPFG.  I have been a member since.  I have attended conferences in Moline, and Anaheim; took many monthly classes. I have learned so much from the guild and made so many wonderful friends.

I lead a very busy life: as a preacher’s wife, mother of three children, an accountant; doing pressed flower enable me to relax, unwind, create craft and art works to share with friends.
